- Maintain your oral hygiene – you should, as usual, brush twice a day and floss at least once a day. If possible, interdental brushes should be used to clean between the teeth and the surrounding area of your implant.
- Quit smoking – to benefit not only your implant but also your general health.
- Get a check-up from your dentistevery six months – get a cleaning and examination, which can help to maintain your implants always in good condition.
- Do not chew on very hard or crunchy foods – such as ice, hard candies or ribs, which causes a heightened risk of cracked prosthesis or natural teeth.
- Protect your implants for the future – Your oral hygiene is the principal key for durable implants as well as the prosthesis on implants.
