The CEREC CAD/CAM system is the most current CAD/CAM technology. CEREC CAD/CAM dentistry is the process through which dental restorations are fabricated utilizing an HD intra-oral video scanner, computer-aided design software, and precision milling equipment.

A patient often goes through stages from taking goopy impressions, using touchy temporaries for weeks, and taking additional visits to cement the final restorations. - Evaluation & Preparation: First, your dentist will thoroughly examine your teeth to ascertain whether you are suitable for the procedure. We will also prepare and discuss a detailed treatment plan with you. Next, we will prepare the affected teeth before taking impressions.
- Digital Impressions: Once the damaged teeth have been prepared, we will take a photograph or digital impression using CEREC Omicam with an infrared camera. This impression will be sent into special software which allows your dentist to design your prosthesis with precise dimensions and shade which matches with the neighboring teeth.
- Milling process: After the model has been designed in the software, we will use the 3D milling machine to fabricate the porcelain veneers at the dental chairside.
- Finishing and attaching the veneers: Then, we use CEREC SpeedFire to sinter a crown in 10 to 15 minutes. After the ceramic is stained and glazed, your dentist will proceed to attach the veneers to your teeth by using adhesive cement.
