Dental Veneer is a minimally invasive cosmetic method, helping to improve dental defects such as sparse teeth, chipped teeth, tetra-infected teeth … So what steps does the dental veneer procedure at Elite Dental include and how long does it take? If you are also interested, don’t miss the article below!
1. Minimally invasive and standardized dental Veneer bonding procedure
The dental veneer is a prosthetic technique that uses porcelain stickers on real teeth to hide the defects of the teeth. Because the porcelain patch is quite thin, and similar in color to real teeth, it is less invasive to real tooth tissue, ensuring naturalness and comfort when using.
The veneer process at Elite Dental is based on international standards, including 4 steps as follows:
Step 1 – Examination and X-ray film
The doctor checks the overall oral health, paying special attention to factors such as tooth shape, color, and tooth pathology. After that, the doctor will prescribe an X-ray film to check the general condition of the teeth.
Please note that porcelain veneers cannot be applied to teeth that have undergone root canal treatment. In such cases, a dental crown is required.
Step 2 – Grinding teeth and attaching temporary teeth
The doctor proceeds to grind the teeth and attach temporary teeth while waiting for the porcelain veneer to be made. When performed, the doctor will anesthetize so you are completely comfortable during the treatment.
Step 3 – Bonding dental veneer teeth
The meticulously crafted dental veneers will be applied by the dentist using specialized dental cement, ensuring a secure and long-lasting bond. During this process, the dentist will carefully position the veneers to achieve a precise fit on the prepared tooth surfaces. This meticulous attention to detail ensures a comfortable and natural feeling, free from any bulkiness or tightness, allowing you to enjoy a confident and radiant smile.
Step 4 – Check-up
After completing the process of bonding dental veneer, if the customer feels gruff and uncomfortable when chewing and talking, they can make an appointment to return to check for the doctor to correct.
2. How long does the process of bonding dental veneer teeth take?
Normally, the time to complete the dental veneer will take about 3-5 appointments depending on each case. Some factors affect veneer bonding time at Elite Dental:

Number of teeth
The greater the number of teeth that need to be done with dental veneer, the longer the completion time.
Teeth condition
If a patient presents with underlying oral health issues such as cavities or periodontal disease, the dentist will prioritize addressing these concerns before proceeding with porcelain veneer treatment. This ensures a stable and healthy foundation for the veneers, preventing complications and ensuring long-term success. Consequently, treating these oral conditions may extend the overall treatment duration.
At Elite Dental, we adhere to the highest international standards for porcelain veneer treatment, ensuring minimal treatment time and optimal results. Our experienced dentists prioritize not only a radiant and confident smile but also a harmonious smile line and precise bite alignment for each patient.
