Mr. Phạm Quang Trung, over 70 years old and residing in Canada, had faced significant challenges in daily life, especially with eating, while wearing full removable dentures. Reflecting on their journey leading up to this life-changing decision, Mr. Phạm Quang Trung and Mrs. Phạm Hoàng Anh shared their story of over 20 years of living with removable dentures.
Mrs. Hoàng Anh emotionally recounted that while the dentures initially worked well, as Mr. Trung aged, they became loose, frequently trapping food and causing discomfort. “Fortunately, we had Dr. Lâm, who is incredibly skilled. Mr. Trung received a total of 10 implants. While his face was swollen, he didn’t feel any pain, and the procedure was completed surprisingly quickly – in just four hours,” Mrs. Hoàng Anh fondly recalled.
Throughout the treatment, Mr. Trung expressed his deep gratitude for the expertise and care of Dr. Lâm, who performed the implant surgery, and Dr. Thuỳ, who handled the prosthetics. Thanks to their precise techniques, the full-arch implant procedure was completed within four hours, using six implants for the upper jaw and four for the lower jaw.
Mr. Trung was astonished at how smooth and pain-free the process was, despite its complexity. Now, the couple can enjoy delicious meals together, which he had to forgo due to his old dentures. “Having teeth again has transformed my face, smile, speech, and most importantly, my eating habits, so my wife doesn’t have to worry as much anymore. That’s what makes me happiest,” Mr. Trung shared emotionally.
