BACKGROUND
Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Tung was born and raised in Ho Chi Minh City. She followed her family tradition and got into the medical field. Dr. Tung was a hardworking dental student with a big ambition. After graduating from dental school, she continued working as a volunteer at her school. Then, Dr. Tung enrolled in a 3-year-residency program to master her expertise in orthodontic dentistry.
Dr. Tung specializes in pediatric orthodontics. After completing her residency program in dental school, Dr. Tung chose Elite Dental as the place to study and enhance her practice. She attends many education courses, both in and out of Vietnam. She believes that study is never enough. One can always expand their knowledge and achieve career growth.
Dr. Tung’s philosophy to work is very straightforward. It is entirely based on her patient’s interests. This is why everyone at Elite Dental appreciates Dr. Tung. She prioritizes her patients and tries her best to deliver the most appropriate and effective treatment to her patients.
Aside from work, Dr. Tung spends her time traveling, cooking, and reading books.

Graduated from Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, 2011.
Resident Dentist at Ho Chi Minh City Odonto-Stomatology Hospital, 2012 – 2015.
Graduated with a Master’s Degree, First Degree specialist, and Resident dentist in the field of Preventive – Developmental Treatment.
Received certification in Advanced Clinical Orthodontics from Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, 2013 –2015.
Received certification in Dental Implantology, 2012.
Received certification with the Invisalign system.
Received certification with Bioprogressive program, 2016-2018.
Completed basic and advanced Meaw technique program in 22018 & 2019.
Participated in an advanced Bioprogressive program in 2019.
Many years of experience in Orthodontics and Pediatric Orthodontics.
Became Platinum Invisalign Provider.
Completed Pr. Enrique Garcia Romero and Pr Sergio Sambataro’s course of interceptive treatment by bioprogressive in 2023.
VISION
Dr. Tung strives to develop more in the field of orthodontics. She also wants to master her expertise in treating temporomandibular joint disorders and get better at applying aligners to treat difficult cases. Dr. Tung hopes to write researches or books to share about her treatment cases during her journey as an orthodontist at Elite Dental.
