BACKGROUND
Passionate is the most comprehensive word to describe Dr. Nhu’s attitude towards her profession. Dr. Nhu has the ambition to help patients successfully overcome the impact of orthodontic disorders and to regain their confidence in life. Dr. Nhu spent many years studying, cultivating, and mastering her skills in orthodontics. She specializes in traditional braces, Invisalign clear aligners, and pediatric orthodontics.
Dr. Nhu majored in dentistry and graduated from Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine & Pharmacy in 2004. During this time, the postgraduate program for orthodontics was unavailable in Vietnam. Dr. Nhu and her burning passion for this expertise had independently organized a three-year course. In this course, she invited Dr. Nelson Oppermann – from the University of Illinois — to be the instructor. Through this program, Dr. Nhu accomplished her specialized orthodontic education in 2010.
Dr. Nhu worked at An Sinh Hospital until she established Elite Dental in 2012. She is also a member of the leadership team of the Ho Chi Minh City Association of Orthodontists.
In 2012, Dr. Nhu got certified with the Invisalign system. This has helped Dr. Nhu to transform many patients’ smiles with lasting results. With experience in Invisalign accumulated over the past 10 years, Dr. Nhu is confident in using Invisalign for complicated cases.
Traditional orthodontic treatment is often recommended to start at 12 years old; however, Dr. Nhu takes a different approach with a fresh perspective. Dr. Nhu determined that the most appropriate time to correct orthodontic problems in children is between 6 to 12 years old. Furthermore, according to Dr. Nhu, the most appropriate approach for children is early detection and intervention to minimize invasion. This determination is based on several successful cases recorded at Elite Dental. As an orthodontic specialist, Dr. Nhu can help parents learn about their children’s teeth and jaw development. With comprehensive treatment built through studies and experience, Dr. Nhu is an expert in treating orthodontic problems.
Apart from her passion for her profession, Dr. Nhu also has many different interests and hobbies. In her leisure time, Dr. Nhu enjoys learning new things and broadening her horizon. She is a yoga enthusiast and a travel lover.

Experienced in advanced Orthodontic Dentistry since 2010.
Member of the Executive Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Association of Orthodontists.
Received certification with the Invisalign system in 2013.
Dr. Nhu has more than 12 years of experience in Orthodontics and Pediatric Orthodontics. She also has more than 10 years of experience in Invisalign treatment.
Completed Prof. Enrique Garcia Romero’s “Basic and Advanced BioMeaw Course” in 2019.
Completed Pr. Enrique Garcia Romero and Pr Sergio Sambataro’s course of interceptive treatment by bioprogressive in 2023.
